We‘re not just dog-friendly, we’re dog obsessed!

Dog owners, dog walkers, and dog sitters of Surrey and beyond… we want your pups!

Some places say they are dog-friendly but don’t really mean it, or they confine them to just a few tables, or to the seats outside. At Altitude, your dogs could not be more welcome! Big dogs, small dogs, puppies, old dogs with no teeth. We love them all.

The only places your dogs aren’t allowed are behind the bar and in the kitchen – this is for health and safety reasons. We also have a small area at the back of the shop where we ask dog owners not to sit. We ask that this area remains child-free too. This is again for health and safety reasons as the kitchen is accessed from this zone,  and it’s a quieter area where people often work. You and your dogs are allowed everywhere else though.

Please don’t worry about muddy paws. If anything, your pooches help us with the neverending task that is ‘croissant-crumb patrol.’ Besides, the shop gets cleaned nightly and your shoes generally have more dirt on the bottoms than their paws do.

We’ve got free dog treats by the sugar station and a doggy corner featuring a range of dog foods, drinks and treats near the counter. We do doggy ice cream and pup-cups too.

Please excuse us if we can’t resist giving your dog a stroke, but don’t worry, we’re well-trained and always wash our hands before returning back to work.

PS) We also welcome other animals… cat treats can be found next to the dog treats (seriously) and we’ve even had a pair of chickens drop by for a visit!
